Photo-Tourism - Parrsboro Motorcycle Ride

For many years, I've loved to combine photography and motorcycle riding whenever possible. Here are a few images from an August 2014 ride through Parrsboro and to the Cape d"or Lighthouse. Here's the route (done clockwise):

On my way to Cape d'Or Lighthouse, I stopped at a few local landmarks. The first two images are at the Five Islands Provincial Park. I stopped to eat at the Parrsboro Harbour View Restaurant. Beautiful little spot to eat and it is right on the beach. The food was great too! I also stopped at Spencer's Island to take a break and to snap a picture of the lighthouse.

Cape d'Or

Driving into Cape d'Or was incredible! Someone told me later that the drive around the peninsula is sometimes referred to as the "Little Cabot Trail" or the "Other Cabot Trail." The description is not without merit! It was a beautiful day and the scenery did not disappoint. There were also lots of twisty roads to keep this biker happy!

Visiting Cape d'Or and the lighthouse is well worth the trip. I highly recommend it.

Below are a few of the images I took there.
